Hyundai brake system service

Brake system service at the Samsun Hyundai specialist workshop measures pads, discs, hydraulics and hoses in the same pass.

This address describes brake work. A shock or front-suspension complaint continues on its own page; a chassis noise is not confused with a brake noise.

What the job covers

Remaining pad, disc thickness and lip, brake-fluid level and hose cracks are checked. An ABS code is passed to diagnostics and is not closed as a pad.

What is watched on this job

  • Disc and pad are measured separately.
  • An ABS code is not closed with a pad.
  • A suspension complaint is not written onto this page.

When should it be checked?

A shake at the steering wheel, a squeal when the pedal is pressed, or a pedal that sinks is a reason for the brake pass. A pull to one side can come from a hose or a piston.

How the visit runs

  1. Thickness

Remaining pad and the disc lip are written down.

  2. Hydraulic

Level, leaks and hoses are inspected.

  3. Road

Which wheel shakes or pulls is noted.

Technical notes

Minimum disc thickness is compared with the value on the part. A disc under the limit is not left in place when the pads are changed; the two are measured separately.
