General maintenance
Hyundai scheduled maintenance
At the Samsun Hyundai specialist workshop, scheduled maintenance is planned when the handbook mileage or month interval is due.
When the interval is due, oil, filters and inspection items are listed for the same visit. The interval can be due with no warning lamp.
What the job covers
Engine oil and the oil filter, the air filter, fluid levels and visible leaks sit in this job. Spark plugs, brake fluid or the timing drive are added only when that interval lists them.
What is watched on this job
- Mileage and months are read together.
- Work that is not on the list is not added by itself.
- The filter number is confirmed on the vehicle.
When should it be checked?
Oil level that falls often, a slow start or an old service sticker can be the reason as the interval approaches. A dark lamp does not mean the interval has not passed.
How the visit runs
-
Interval
Mileage, months and the last service note are compared.
-
List
The fluids and filters for that interval are separated.
-
Record
The work done and the next interval are noted.
Technical notes
Oil viscosity and the filter number are chosen from the engine code. One 5W-30 is not written for every Hyundai engine. The quantity is checked after the sump plug is removed.
