Computerised fault diagnosis at the Samsun Hyundai specialist workshop reads a stored code together with live data and the related circuit.
A code on the tool screen is not a parts invoice. The code chooses which measurement comes next.
What the job covers
Records from the engine, ABS, transmission and body electronics are read. A parts replacement is not written into this service before the circuit is measured.
What is watched on this job
- A code is not counted as a parts order.
- The freeze frame is noted.
- A cleared record is not counted as the cause.
When should it be checked?
A lamp that is on, pull that drops into a limp mode, or a lamp that returns after it was cleared is a reason for diagnosis.
How the visit runs

The live value of the related sensor is taken.

The circuit or the mechanical side is chosen.
Technical notes
Rpm, load and temperature in the freeze frame are noted. The same code can appear for an air leak or a sensor circuit; the two are measured separately.
