Fault signs
Why does the engine warning lamp come on in a Hyundai?
The lamp is not a diagnosis. A stored code means something only when it is read with the related circuit.

What the lamp says
The engine lamp says the control unit has seen a limit.
It does not, by itself, name the part to replace.
Situations that are often mixed
A loose fuel cap, an ignition leak or a sensor drift can light the same lamp.
These are possibilities. Which one applies to your car is not written before it is measured.
What should not be done
Disconnecting the battery to turn the lamp off looks like clearing the record.
If the record and the freeze frame disappear, the reason disappears with them.
The order at the workshop
The code is read, then live data and the related circuit are checked together.
The result is explained to you. A part is not fitted without your approval.
